TOUBKAL ASCENT 2 DAYS

DAY 1: MARRAKECH – IMLIL 1740M – MARABOUT 2310M – REFUGE DU TOUBKAL 3207M:
After breakfast, meeting with the mule team then leaving the village of Imlil towards the Toubkal refuge passing over the Marabout of SIDI CHAMHAROUCHE 2300 m, continuation of the walk following the mule path to the Toubkal refuge (3207m), overnight stay. 5-6 hours of walking.
5h to 7h walk

DAY 2: REFUGE 3207M- CLIMBING THE SUMMIT OF TOUBKAL 4167M –IMLIL 1710M:
Wake up earlier to climb the Toubkal Summit 4167m the highest peak in North Africa, panoramic view of all the high valleys of the Atlas, possibility of seeing the Djebel Siroua (3500m) the gateway to the desert, 3 hours of climbing, ½ hour at the top to admire the beautiful landscapes, return to the refuge by descending 2h30, lunch on the spot then return to Imlil (1740m) in the afternoon 3h30 of walking. 9h walk in Total. Transfer to Marrakech or the airport.

Berber villages & Valleys trek 2 days

DAY 1: AROUMD VILLAGE (2000M) & TREK IN TIDLI FOREST.

Pick up from Marrakech and drive to the Atlas Mountains, meet the Berber guide and start a short camel ride from Rha Molay Brahim for 1 hour, enjoy the riverbed and farms as well as from the 1st view of the mountain range of the Atlas mountains, transfer to Imlil, you check in at Riad Atlas Imlil, a short walk to the village of Aroumd, a breathtaking view of the entire valley of Ait Mizane and the Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa, descend to the village of Imlil.
Overnight at Riad Atlas Imlil.
4h to 5h walk

DAY 2: TIZI N’TAMATERTE HIKE (2279M)

After breakfast, start another incredible day of hiking to the Tizi n’Tamaterte pass (2279 m) via the isolated Berber village of Tamaterte, beautiful views of the Tachdirte and Imnane valley, the optional ascent of the summit of Assaoul (2700 m), descend back to the riad for lunch / or take it in the pass itself, more walking if necessary through the village of Mzik & Arghen, back to the riad.

Azzaden valley trek 2 days

DAY 1: MARRAKECH – IMLIL/ HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS (1775M) – TIZIMZIK (2485M)-TAMSOULTE WATERFALLS (2300M) TIZIOUSSEM VILLAGE (1850M).

After breakfast at the hotel in Marrakech, you are welcomed at 9am by our driver and you head towards the High Atlas mountains passing by Tahnnaout, the gorges of MlyBrahim and the city of Asni before skirting Oued Ghighaya enjoying the view of the villages on the other side of the valley.

Arriving at the Imlil Valley (67 km from Marrakech), you meet your local guide at the disembarkation point just a two-minute walk from Riad Jnane Imlil for a Berber mint tea on the panoramic rooftop terrace overlooking the villages Berbers, Mount Toubkal and the river.

Then you get ready then start your hike and climb the TiziMzik pass (2485m) which offers a spectacular view of the Imlil valley and the summit of Toubkal (the highest peak in North Africa at 4167m) you continue until to Tamsoulte to visit the highest waterfalls of the Atlas Mountains (100m altitude) before descending the Azzaden valley through a juniper forest to finally arrive at the village of TiziOussem.

DAY 2: TIZI OUSSEM (1850M) – VILLAGE ID ISSA (1800M) – TIZI OUDID (2000M) – MATTAT.

After breakfast and enjoying the sun in this colorful valley and its marvelous typical Berber villages, you leave TiziOussemand to continue towards the village of Id Issa before heading towards the Col de TiziOudid (2000m) and through the village of Matat after a forest of wild junipers to continue to the river bed where you have lunch under the walnut trees and relax by the river.
